Mise En Place

My one-shot comic book, Mise En Place, is being published by CEX Comics on April 26th! It’s a kitchen-set satirical, sci-fi comic about consumerism, and a messy, pulpy, over-the-top tale of bloody revenge.

The script was written by me with cover and story art from the unique and wonderful Lane Lloyd; a variant cover by one of my all-time favorite artists, Nicole Goux; outstanding letters by my former teacher, Sean Rinehart; and editing/mentorship from the incredible comic writer, Paul Allor. The comic was recently previewed on Bleeding Cool.

This release will be the first time my writing is featured as a stand alone narrative work (not in a magazine, newspaper, or anthology). It feels like a big moment for this little side-hustle and I’m so incredibly thankful for Mise En Place’s bad ass creative team and to Andy Schmidt and everyone at CEX Comics for taking a chance on this wild, bat-shit crazy comic book.
